Holt Architecture

Holt Architecture is dedicated to conservation and restoration with expertise in handling Listed buildings, applying the same meticulous attention to detail found in our larger projects.

This Grade II Listed Georgian townhouse project involved the complete demolition of later ancillary additions, while constructing a new, four-storey extension at the rear. Catering to our client, an enthusiastic antiquarian, we designed a home that served as a fitting showcase for their diverse art and artefact collection.

Throughout the property, the renovation process was undertaken with great care and reverence for the historical integrity of the building. We skillfully integrated modern services, fittings and features into the design, alongside a well-researched and accurate restoration of original architectural elements, including floors and ceilings. The result is a harmonious blend of history and modernity, tailored to our client’s needs and vision.
