Senior Architect (full time)

​

Are you a creative and driven architect looking to make a genuine impact within a small, forward-thinking practice? Holt Architecture is seeking an ambitious project architect to join our London studio.

 

This role is ideal for a skilled designer with the experience to lead projects through all stages of development, from concept to completion. As part of a tight-knit team, you’ll take on meaningful responsibility, contribute to high-impact projects, and have the freedom to develop your own ideas within a supportive, collaborative environment.

​What You’ll Be Doing:

​

  • Design Leadership: Drive architectural projects independently and within a team, developing creative solutions across concept and detailed design phases.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.

  • Presentation & Compliance: Prepare and present design proposals, ensuring they align with planning regulations, building standards, and health and safety requirements.

  • Project Management: Deliver projects on schedule, with the flexibility to adapt as project needs evolve.

  • Business Development: Nurture existing and form new client relationships and attend networking events.

​

Your Skills & Qualifications:

​

  • ARB registered Architect.

  • Minimum four years of hands-on experience within an architectural practice.

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, and Microsoft office.

  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainable design principles. Experience with BREEAM is a plus.

  • Exceptional design, interpersonal and organisational skills, with an eye for sustainable innovation and quality.

  • This is a client facing role and you will be expected to attend meetings alone or with the practice Director and to manage information flows within internal and external project teams.
